At the April 1, 2007 BMD Facility Accreditation Seminar in Toronto, the OAR and Osteoporosis Canada (OC) announced an important partnership regarding a significant new Pilot Project to fund facility accreditation for 20 BMD facilities in Ontario.

The OAR is pleased to announce that the October 13th Canadian BMD Facility Accreditation Seminar will be held at the Ontario Bar Association (OBA)Convention Centre at 20 Toronto Street (2nd floor) in downtown Toronto. A special hotel rate of $159.00 single/double occupancy per DELUXE KING suite, plus taxes has been arranged at the Cambridge Suites Hotel, which is located about a block and a half from the OBA Convention Centre at 15 Richmond Street East. Underground parking is available at the hotel. Cut off for reservations at this rate is Friday, September 14, 2007, so don't delay. New Radio Ad Campaign Launched
|
|
The OAR launched its new 3-Year Communications Plan this week with a series of radio ads in Ottawa, Toronto/GTA , London, and surrounding regions. The ads are designed to raise public awareness of the importance of diagnostic imaging to their health, and the ongoing chronic under-funding of radiology and its impact on the health care system. Medical Equipment Fund Money Approved for Independent Health Facilities (IHFs)
